have not had enough here to even think about going out and playing, but the bloody schools closed, after an inch, and the main roads where completely clear, this country has gone to the pots, Rick

still snowing here in Kendal at 2300 and it started at 1500 this afternoon. Sitting here watching the garden and the t2 slowly disappear. Dont you love how deep snow makes the world silent. regards bri

please be carefull if you are going to play in the snow with your trucks ,

i dont know about anywhere else , but the snow fell onto ice and compacted snow here last night , making for lethal conditions .

Went Buxton then back across to Cheadle through some back roads

Was mental tbh, 2ft in some places, 5ft drifts, cars abandoned all along the road from Alton to Cheadle

Going up to Mid Cheshire soon, outlaw visit, from Mid Staffs, so I will be avoiding the M6 anyway, too many foot ball supporters rushing to the northern matches
We will be using the A roads so I will be taking the Mav, just in case we have to use the side roads, as idiots who can't drive in snow block all the roads.

There is also high risk of deep puddles too, as the last of the snow and ice is probably blocking the drains.

By mid Monday, most of it will be gone
