Default i tried not to be too smug...

as i drove home from brum today
i even saw a gritter, it was outside a cafe....
terrano was faultless where others zig zagged up hills. fantastic! hope everyone made it home safe.

they deserve a break too.
I happened to be up in the early hours 2:30 am and the snow plough went through our village both ways, the gritter also.

Cannock Chase Council are excellent.

Some say we had 10" but it depends if a man or a woman was measuring it...

birmingham was total chaos, the main a38 was white over. no grit put down at all.

I did about 150 miles locally yesterday

Made some proper steep climbs in foot deep untouched snow around the lanes, truck was faultless

a38 main connector road to the m6 closed this morning, traffic carnage, they had to wait for a gritter to arrive due to sheet ice. i thought it was all sheet ice!
the inward carriageway had been gritted previously and was fine, brum..."you'll never leave"
