We have a bit, but nothing serious.
I see the schools are shutting like chain stores...we are growing a generation of wimps, when I was at school, it didn't shut until it went over your ankles, when it did, we still had to stay on.
These days, they shut schools, just in case it gets bad FFS

Side roads and pavements have 1cm or so here in Walsall, Main roads unaffected but it is coming down quite heavy now

Here's a picture out of the office window as this thread is seriously lacking pictures!!!

we have a fairy dusting so far, ice cold however and side roads are now dangerous. All schools open, forcast says snow later today but we will see.

not us up North lad!! schools are open for business!

we do however, have a huge number of accidents, caused by many who dont know how to drive in cold icy conditions, i.e. slow.

It's getting really silly these days, national news main story that snow is coming, these days being reported in CM's as it sounds so much worse than inches! Where I went to school we had a 14 mile journey each way and that was short compared to some. All of us that lived outside the village had to have prearranged emergency accommodation with someone in the village in case we were snowed out. We did get days off, but that was usually when the road was filled in with 6ft+ drifts.
