I HAVE A 2.7 TERRANO JUST WANT TO KNOW IF ITS OK LIVE IN RAINHAM ESSEX CAN ANY ONE TELL ME WHERE I CAN GET IT FROM THANKS

A member called wedge runs his on bio, drop him a pm to see how his motor runs on it. also do a google search for outlets and it should tell you if there is any in your area.

i'm looking into making my own if i can get a regular supply of decent used oil as the nearest outlet to me for bio is in staffordshire.how are you wedge not heard from you in a while.incidently how much is bio at the pump anyway :?:

if you switch to bio make sure to carry a spare filter it has a habit of dragging all the crud through the first few tankfuls

it strips all the varnish that dino diesel builds up in tank and fuel lines,it also attacks rubber so changing any lines for viton rubber is a must also.the good side is that it is a better lubricant so pump and injector wear is reduced(or is it svo that attacks rubber)will have to double check that one. :?

Just sold the terrano this afternoon,
shame really, it was a cracking motor,
powerful, economical if I was light on the throttle,
probably the most reliable vehicle I've ever had,
was'nt using it enough though, and it was a shame to wreck it off road,
I have been running it on biodesel all the time,
Bio - one pound twelve pence at the pump yesterday- local place has now run out, its that popular,
I see you've been improving your LWB, and you've got some good tyres,
are they much noisier, I bet the grip is really good?
Careful though with home brew, you must make sure the water is out of it,
Aeration, Seperation and Filtration are the secrets,
I've just put some SVO in the astra today, did a couple of hundred miles up to Wales and back seems fine, even that gone up from 90p to 118p this week.

shame you had to get rid of your t2 you made our day last time we were laning.as for the tyres not too much road noise but as you said the difference in grip is very good.got them for a good price aswell(£40.00 each brand new)as for the home brew iv'e got endless amounts of info about it just trying to take it all in and get some knowledge from successfull producers before i take the plunge and brew my own.running 30% svo at the moment as i get it from the mother in law from the warehouse.£17.25 for 20 ltrs of rape seed,but as you said the price of it is rapidly increasing :evil: had to sell my quad bike to pay for all the recent mods to my t2 :cry: its a mad world :?

you can buy a kit to make your own homebrew from WVO costs about 35p a litre the kit which a friend of mine has cost him 800 quid, not cheap i know but just before i sold my pajero it was costing 102 quid to fill, it wouldnt take long to recover at that rate especially if you go halves with someone

only thing that will need changing is the filter,but you will have to gradually increase the amount of bio you put in until you are running just on bio.
