I was there yesterday, as I recall you get 80 seconds with the screen wash & 5 mins with the airline for your £1

Just need to take a large container to take the air home with you now, and use that on the cars at home. Try this:- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Compressed-air...item43a644539d A few weks ago I bought 2x 2.5 litres of concentrated screen wash, from ASDA, each was a £1 The 5 litre container was more expensive than the 2 x 2.5 litres.

Here is one I made earlier
The hardest bit is unscrewing the gas valve, 31mm open ended spanner & about 1 metre of pipe to get leverage. The thread is standard 3/4" BSP I got the bottle free Last edited by kitchenman; 05-04-2011 at 16:09. Reason: spelling |

The cable ties are holding a bit of hose pipe in place, I haf to cut the handle holes bigger, higher to get to the air coulpings, this left sharp corners even after filing, it weeighs a bit so just for comfort. I had to make a special up to charge thr tank, a 1/2" lever valve with a male coupling each side. Turn valve off, plug into tank then plug airline into adaptor, then turn on valve. This comes in handy if you need lots of air a long way from compressor, haul the airline out, plug it into the tank & plug the tool into the other coupling. Total cost less than a tenner Last edited by kitchenman; 05-04-2011 at 16:15. Reason: left lots out |

I have a 46kg propane cylinder in the workshop for compressed air. Somewhere around 300l. Very handy for maintaining pressure when spraying when the compressor cant quite keep up, or semi-portable use for blowing up tyres etc. Holds alot more than you would think.
