Pete and I have a mutual history as TV (domestic electronics) engineers for the Thorn EMI empire so we have sen all that lovely old HiFi stuff

oi , i actually worked for matsushita electronic corporation lol

well when i say worked that might have been stretching things a bit ..... more like avoiding work and falling asleep in my van lol

I think the rest gets far to complicated to do on here, what we have proven is that you have electronic control all by solenoids not direct linkage so electrics is the most likely problem, Rick
