You jest..............I have honestly genuinely seen one lad subtly screw his face up to distort his features when the witness was walking past.

In a line up of straight faced blokes theres nothing like drawing attention to yourself, and it worked

we used to do id parade when on yts scheme would get afternoon off and paid £4 extra one afternoon we finnished early and went the pub on the way walkin towards us was a little fella from a local pub goin bank with cash in cash bag big fuchin yellow thing .not tryin to hide it so we closed in on him and at the last minute parted like the red sea but he shit him self thought he was in for a kickin and rob him we laughed and went the pub .next week goes to id parade as usual standind in the line door open who walks in with a ****in big black eye little fella from the week before .shit ourselves .poetic justice for bein four knob heads the week before .and didn,t do anymore id,s after that

Got picked. He was being such an arse he drew attention to himself, made him worth a second look. I have no idea how i kept a straight face.

I had nothing at all to do with the actual case, Id just been called in to escort witness's but i understand the id parade was called into question in court.

so he tried to use his own stupidity at trying to look different as a defence ! i bet the judge had a laugh over lunch lol!
