Best £10 I've spent this year. (2010)
This site save me a bomb on garage bills as i had problems with the 4x4 on my Mav. A few posts later and i not only knew what the problem was but i was able to fix it with a £5 can of copper coat.
I now have fully working 4x4 drive thanks to members of this site. Other sites i used that were free just did not get me the results this one did. Well worth £10 even if i did not use it again.............Dont worry, of course i will |

id guess about £100 for the garage to fix it.
It took me 2 hours at £45 per hour labour plus copper coat @ £5 a can. Then VAT@ 20%. So maybe a bit more........Your looking for % tip now arnt you. |

I could say I joined for the manual link, but I had that already. I could say I joined up because it looked like everyone knew what they were talking about, but you don't get to see that unless you join up , so I'll have to tell the truth and say I joined up after I read the story of how everyone on here helped Briggie out when he was in trouble.
Since then I've given stuff away (to members) I could have sold, delivered things I could have made people collect, and generally changed my attitude a bit when it comes to helping people out. I even thought about pulling a BMW X5 up the hill out of Cromer, but let's not get silly eh ? |

There's 2 hills, one much steeper than the other, and they were both iced up during the last lot of heavy snow.
Not that it makes any difference, an X5 can get stuck on the flat (can't it Briggie ) |
