I like plain black round tax disc holders with perhaps white writting but you can't see what it is from the outside.
My personal preferance is not to bother as I don't need a card or sticker to know I'm a member of this club. I personally think keep the money to help pay site costs. Jim T |

Thats ok Jace,
But then everyone will know your membership number which may lead to ex members contacting supplers for discounts and using members benifits. Mav. |

i thought that as i hit sumbit button guests etc will just be able to see the vital number reckon just print off the welcome letter and add member number to that upto indvidual to look after it and keep it safe it could even be emailed out and printed by member saving ink and paper your end!

do we really need membership cards all we need is a mebership number(which we would normally quote to supplier over the phone) which could be given out in a welcome to the club e mail. i agree with jt that money could be well spent on running the club,
but as a deviation nothing wrong is using a tax disc with a simple round notifiction on annual rally as a easy to see rally pass |

A HAPPY MEDIUM!
--a card is god for rally's sicounts etc. but no potential members see it in your pocket --a tax disk holder no one sees from outside --it is nice to display your membership on your car so, what about a cheap round tax disk holder printed so that with no tax disc in it can be read from outside, you know the type with the clinging film rather than the sticky stuff. Then at rallys we can be emailed a disc print and cut out with an image unique to that rally and put it under the holder, job done! as it is clinging film it can be moved to a new car without scrapping it as it will just peel off, they could also then be sold in the club shop should you need another! |

Hello Killerpete, You are member 208
Its because we did not do membership cards from day one, The club has had more members than memberships cards have been handed out. Hope this makes sence. Mav. |

Hello Plank, What i am trying to sort out at the moment is a sticker that fits to the inside of the window screen facing out,
About the same size as a tax disc but with member 2008 on it and not the picture of the Terrano. http://www.nissan4x4ownersclub.co.uk...xdiscsmall.jpg Mav. |

sounds just like what i had in mind, could you get them done in the cling type stuff ratehr than adhesive? as you can trap somthing under them and then they can double up as a tax disc holder? and you can move them from car to car, i ask as i am allways changing cars!
i do have a few of the old stickers i even have on on my ifor wiliams work trailer, i may add one to the horse box when i get one  |

Hello again,
I suppose i could give you several and then you can leave them in your old vehicles. Just waiting for a return phone call from them with types and prices. Mav. |
