I think anyone who knows anything about websites can do it for you. You can literally get a template and just adapt it to yourself.
I got my mate to do mine for me, he charged me £450 which included design, set up, purchase of domain and web hosting. Have a look www.rbspares.com It is a hell of a lot easier than you think! I was shocked |

yeah its pretty simple. loads and loads of places to buy your domain name from. I use 1&1, not for any particular reason other than very cheap, no issues and expandable. My site is and my other halfs is hosted with them, doing this is simple and like any other hosting company you'll get help included. my .co.uk's cost something like £2.99 for a year plus something like £2.99 a month for basic hosting (whihc is more than adequate for us-non business)
as for the design, loads of people out there that can do it for you, plus whoever you buy your domain name through will most likely offer a service with templates for a small fee. Firstly, id figure out what domain name you want and get it checked asap, if its available, get it bought as soon as you can. |

Register your domain name here.
.com's are £10.45 a year, .co.uk's are £6.93 for 2 years. You want TOTAL control of your domain name including DNS settings, UKReg gives you that... so don't be tempted by cheaper options. For basic hosting, choose a hosting package from here, I know the guy who owns it. There is only one name worth considering when it comes to forums software, vBulletin, currently a one off payment of £125 As with everything in life, you get what you pay for |
