Ahh! I see now. Their main man ( well I say 'Man') wanted £10 a wheel to change and balance each corner even when they were not busy

The young grease monkey on a sunday morning was quite happy to make£20 whilst I was taking wheels on an off and making sure he did a proper job!! He got a proper sweat on and couldn't belive how heavy the wheels and tyres were..

Another bargaining chip is to offer to take the old tyres away and if your old valves hold air dont get them changed. Just take the old tyres to the local recycling center and they will dispose of them f nowt!

As an aside I would not buy 'cheap tyres'

I would however buy good tyres cheap!!

Never scrimp and 'save' on the bits your life depends on!!!
