Lost fish

HI we reckon the Heron has been 8 little gold fish have disappeared.
any ideas to keep it away .
12gauge not acceptable

plastic one. they give the "taken" sign and no other Heron will land

We tried a plastic one and a Heron attacked it, smashed it to pieces.
We now have a net over the pond which is approx 4 inches above the water.
Available from water garden places, it is a mesh approx 15mm x 15mm.

put a plastic owl on a pole by the pond, it will shite it self when come for dinner again. ps they use them at my fishing club around the lakes.

put a carrot in a mousetrap at the bottom of your pond, that'll give the heron a suprise
