Hi all a newbie
Hi all
just joined as i am looking for some advice on the Terrano I own a Nissan Navara D22 outlaw on a 04 plate and i am thinking of selling it.I have been looking at the terrano for the space and we would also be towing a caravan.Does it suffer from any of the problems the Navara does ie blown engines?or any other major problems i need to be aware of.I love the Navara but we find the back seats very cramped so thought the 7 seater would be ideal. Any thoughts?cheers Andy |

well, ive had mine for over a year now. i bought mine believing it to be a real good 4x4, but i ended up with a ton of trouble BUT dont let that put you off, let me explain.
This club is awesome, and they have helped me fix mine countless times. All I can say is check and check the vehicle before you buy it. if you can, get those codes read, check everything runs smoothly. When I first got mine, I had some niggles that I didnt think anything of at the time, these developed and ended up turning into many problems to fix. Throughout it all i love dmy car, and now its pretty much sorted. When my troubles started, we bougt a caravan, and had to pick it up from Manchester, 80 mile round trip, and even with those problems, it did it so well, i truely couldnt tell the caravan was there. I am finding my Maverick better and better the more i fix it, they are very capable 4x4's, the only workd of caution i have isnt about the engine or even the mechanicals, its the electricals. get those sensors checked, No1 injector, MAF, CKP etc, if all thats working, then you'll be fine! |
