Default Nissan Sunderland

I have been sent this week to work in.....

Nissan Manufacturing UK Sunderland

Spent the full day around the Site today and it's like Nissan City...

Was looking at the Nissan Pathfinder 'Emergency' vehicles... very nice, heart set on one as my next motor now.
Also they make the Qashqui and Qashqai+2 up here, along with a couple of others, so on site everyone seems to drive one... they are used as catering vehicles, delivery vehicles etc (you can tell as rather then number plates they just have 'deliverys' or 'vending' whatever instead on the plate!!! Was also looking at the left hand drive motors with the fancy bonnet mirrors bolted on!

Was talking to one of the engineers about the Terrano - he said its a damn fine motor (he's had a couple too and drove them to the moon and back) although he did say the rear ends sh*t in the wet.... for the excitable drivers on here you'll know what he means by that!!!

Also if you work on the plant you get 20%+ of your brand new Nissan.... Suppose it encorages you to make sure the bolts are tightened properly!!!!

Up here till Thursday evening... plenty of time to try wangle a test drive in a Pathfinder!!!!!

Hi, asked one of the guys today, he basically said stay clear of the ones with the panoramic roofs - apparently in winter they mist up something cronic!
Apart from that he said there a nice motor... stay clear of the 1.5 though, and the '+2' is the one to choose?
