RAC M4 30mins !
Had a rubbish day yesterday after seeing me poor old mum in hosp. still plumbed in to the NHS grid
The ruddy ward has been closed down due to Novovirus proper crimbo cheer I dont think.......... So me and the family are hammering it home on the M4 in the wife's focus when..... SPLAT, cough, no power, all the dash lights start a flashin' and we gently cruise to a stop on the hard shoulder Bugger Called the RAC who said they were up to their ears in call outs n snow n that anyway as we're on the motorway we're a prority case(not special rt paullllly) Anyway the nice man from the RAC was actually with us in 30 mins and set about trying to fix it. Trouble was found to be a dead diesel pump Bugger So another hour for a pick up truck and we were off. While we waited the RAC van waited behind us so we didnt have to wait outside in the freezing cold So hoora for the RAC and ya boo to the ruddy diesel pump Anybody want a 1.8 Focus TDi spares or repair? |

yes theres a firm down here who supply the upgraded pumps, but there is a problem, you have to have the new pump coded to the car, i got my neighbours focus sorted for him, a right pita job. and it was a year 2000 model |

possible i suppose, but normaly it's the pump, thats why they have modified them, you will need the serial number from the pump aswell, so you get the right pump or it wont be able to be coded to your vehicle.
