Deer stalking (sniping?)

Well,deer season started here on the 1st so I'm off to see if I can nab a nice Red over in the West, hope to get there about 7 or 8 this evening,then it's an early night and a 4.30 start in the morning. With a bit of luck it will be venison backstrap for dinner tomorrow night,probably washed down with a nice bottle of red wine and followed by a few beers and talking BS.

duck season started same day and it was the worst day ever, bagged 0 lol, it looked great on monday evening it was thunder and lightning and a nice storm then ealier hours it just went all calm and the ducks flew to high to be shoot at

. Besides, there is very little chewing on my venison steak, it's normally so succulent it melts on the tongue. Being processed in my butcher's and should be on the table before the end of the week. Bet it tastes a lot better than those scrawny Welsh sheep that you are surrounded by
