camping caravanning europe
Hi guys, after a delay we are off to France tomorrow, for about nine weeks...... the down side its mid summer and the schools are out and we usually take our trips in the spring.
Our sons have insisted we have a satnav and so they have bought us a very nice Garmin nuvi. So after camping all over Europe for over 45 years and getting lost and finding some wonderful places by accident, we will be travelling in the trust of Emily the lady in the satnav. and blaming her for taking me the wrong way up a one way street or up mt ventoux , instead of blaming my wife!. I have found an interesting site for campers and caravanner's who are using points of interest POIs on the satnav, this gives you 21000 sites in Europe and all for free!! http://www.archiescampings.eu/. Whilst in france we are visiting friends, attending a week long birthday party and then a wedding. The terrano is all oiled up, fuelled up (99p L Asda) and waiting to go. Bye see you in september, bri..... |

Thanks Willow, as I didnt always follow my wifes instructions, and I could argue for England, no doubt Emily and I will have a few words and I will get my own way , even when I am wrong, we will still be singing that old song that I am sure you will remember " we were lost in france" but then Emily will be there to put us back on track. Must go to bed now have 250 mile tow tomorrow. Good night all.......bri
