Plug holders
Just had to replace the plate that holds the trailer plugs on the x-trail because the last one snapped, give it 2 months and this one will be snapped as well. is there any way of stopping them snapping> i.e. using bolting two together or a stronger one?

not on the x-trail, no steps or cubby holes to put it in. Plus he would have my head for doing that.

You might get one made up by a blacksmiths out of a heavier gauge steel

mmm rubber!!!
make a flexible one out of a bit of rubber sheet / conveyor belting (reinforced) then it will just flip back when you catch it on ground
