Do you believe in evolution?
[Went to look at a few cars with my bro today.
Hes got a very well modded and tidy LR Disco but he was looking for a Subaru Impreza Wrx or Sti budget of £6,000. We went to an importer just a mile or so from where I to view a Wrx but when we got there this beautiful 1996 Mitsubishi Evo IV grabbed our attention. Very nice car but the dealer wouldn't budge on price, wouldn't give a warranty etc so we decided to look elsewhere. Ebay came up with an 1996 Evo IV down in Rugby, imported last year and described in vgc. So down we went in my Galaxy to view it. As soon as we saw it it was clearly in more than vgc. Just had a service and cambelt @ 66,000 miles. 12 months mot and 4 tax. Alloys are slightly scuffed but thats not an issue as my bro will be putting aftermarkets on. After a bit of haggling he walked away with the car for just £3,300 and I drove it home cause I have insurance to. It drives fantastic, brakes are immensely powerful, steering very direct and suspension nice and tight. The engine is so responsive and pulls so strongly its unbelievable that so much performance can be bought for such little money. Only thing I found was that its still restricted as imported cars from Japan are to 112mph but it gets there incredibly fast. Heres a pic I took while we viewed it. DSC00013.jpg |

looks good, if you like that sort of thing, no seriously though doesnt look its age
from plate etc. of scooby v. mitsi would go latter as more room in car? other day, and admit not a contender to an evo, but a car have always admired an s reg omega 2 litre petrol for sale with sign in window a grand ono suppose is 10 years old but certainly sort of car you could have fun with in a sleeper sort of way. one of last rwd saloons after all. barring beemers etc. always fancied a senator as well 3 litre straight 6 24 valve, which could also be found in omega, both popular with the plod before the volvos took over...

No Ralliart decal hes more the discreet kind, but nicer alloys will probably go on.
I've gotta take it up to Stoke on Trent for him tomorrow, might get up early and go via Wales |
