may be not as extreme but documentry about airstream trailers and a book I have
shows various round the world 'caravans' or tours/rallies as we would call them
in 50's and 60's. led by Wally Bayam, Airsteam' market manager for many years.

Certainly worth a look. Dont think I'll be taking our Spectrum over that sort of terrain
unless Tomtom gets very confused!

beeb did a series called perpetual motion. included routemaster bus, airstream and others
cant recall, likely one of either mini, minor or beetle. got some of them on tape somewhere.
