More Firepower
Had this small LED bar making dust marks on the shelf complete with a wiring harness since I took it off my motorbike, was standing outside sipping beer when I happened to look at the empty holes on top of the bullbar and thought hey those kinda look close to that one light... Two hours and a trip to the hardware store later (had to fabricate brackets) |

In the plans to add a few out back as well, problem is it is illegal here to hook them up as reverse lights so they have to have a separate switch to toggle them on and off, that way you can put however much lights in there as you please as then they are "working lights"
Only discovered this weekend that my reverse light wasn't even firing, deeper examination revealed the entire right tail light was dead. Found several culprits, tow hitch socket was shorting, deleted that, found a few broken wires, and the connector behind the left tail light that connects the right side harness to the main harness was full of water. Oh and swapped out front brake pads, all four had ONE millimeter of stoppy stuff left! Fun times... Still gotta swap out both batteries, got fresh ones in the trunk but also need to swap the far side terminal connectors as well, and figure out what's broken inside the left side Comet light as it's flopping around loose. But before all that need to swap summer tiers under the wifey's Skodillac so been a day full of cars! |
