Is this really the end?
It is with a heavy heart that I really do have to consider moving the Old Girl on.
It's come to the point where work is getting rid of my Van, so I'm going to have to commute. Although I don't have a problem with commuting in the Patrol, the problem is when she's 'up in the air' I wont be able to get to work. I simply can't afford to run two cars... But I'm still weighing up my options. |

You get so attached to them, I was sad when I sold mine. You have to do what you have to do, on the plus side someone will get a cracking patrol if you do sell

In a perfect world, not many.
It's currenty up un the air as I have to sort a wheel bearing out. If I was a man with a ton of spare time, I'd get it done and dusted. But I'm not, so it's been on axel stands since mid last week. |

I feel like I've not stopped thinking about this for days!
Another option I have considered is getting a cheap motorbike. That way I get to keep the Patrol and if for whatever reason it's not in a driving state I can commute on the bike... Even if it is raining! I think, if it wasn't for the wheel baring issue just now, I probaly wouldn't of even considered this... Just the news of work getting rid of my van sent my brain into overdrive! |
