Has the fuel filter been changed recently - cheap replacements can be the culprit.

Bypass your fuel filter and fit a small inline one temporarily, if that stops the air then the rubber membrane in the fuel primer has deteriorated.
Do not use an inline filter with paper filament, they are for petrol, use one with metal or plastic gauze |

First off how do you know you have air? if you have a bit of clear hose in the line and you see bubbles, where is it positioned, before or after the filter? Rick

Was the leak there before you replaced the fuel pipe or after? All you can do is check all the joints and see if there's any seepage from the joints. As Doug has already mentioned, its worth bypassing the filter to see if thats the cause. Failing that, you can always pressure test the feed line to the injector pump.

Welcome mate
Best thing you can do is run the truck from the IP out of a Jerry can bearing in mind anything used will bypass back into the main tank if not used, go and take it for a run and monitor performance. First things to look for are fuel filter disintegration or blockage (check manual primer plunger on filter head is not perm sucked down when engine running Then check the fuel lines all the way back from the IP down the chassis rail back to the tank. I have also had issues this far back with my first Ford Maverick (same as Terrano) it appeared that conifer needles had been finding their way into the tank when i was filling up with veg oil on the drive, these had all become stuck in the swirl chamber and needed to be unclogged, cleared the blockage and no more bubbles in air line and truck pulled like a horse again. I'd link you top some threads with pictures but as you're not a full member you won't be able to access them yet
