Default It’s The Weekend

Hi All, what are you all getting up to this weekend?

Seems a bit of an anti climax after last weekends Wales trip, some great memories made for everyone last weekend.

So I’m stuck on call this weekend so a little bit careful how far from home I stray. I’m just mustering the enthusiasm to go to local motor factors for some oil and anti roll bar d bushes. It’s nearly mot time for the 3litre so it’s time for a little tlc. Going to do both front arb links and a top ball joint. I fitted polly bushes last year and the d bushes creek like mad so would be nice to replace those for rubber ones. I’ve ordered a pair of front monroe adventure shockers so want to get those fitted at some point too.

I'm in fact in Wales this weekend with Elty & Paultrol, sadly my truck wasn't ready for the meet which I had been desperately aiming for but with set backs here there and everywhere it wasn't to be so I'll be heading ashamedly across the border in the Fiesta later. Elty has very kindly offered me a spare seat in his truck So I'll have to be on top form with the photography and gate duties

I also had Polybush Anti Roll Bar "D" Clamp bushes and as you say, my word were they noisy, so creeky and in an effort to stop them making noise I actually overtightened one on Terrance and ripped the thread off so had to drill through and nut and bolt it now Since I've replaced with rubber I've had no problems at all

I've got Rough Countries on mine Jim and they are really nice and soft but can become a bit bouncy at times as they are off road biased

I was gonna finish the paint on my filling & priming of the dint, but the weather is too unpredictable. I also feel that most of the paint would end up every where but the truck with the breeze we have at the moment
So instead not much. I attempted to take Monkey Dog out this morning just wearing a T-shirt etc (me, not the dog), it started to pitter patter with drops & the clouds looked dark so we returned home, the washing was out, but it turned out to be nothing

I'm changing the diff oils later, i think the rear is desperate. After that I have a carb rebuild to do on a bike. Not anything too taxing

Well didn’t get anything done yesterday, ended up with a thumping headache so the day was wasted.
Today I’ll try and find some time to get work done on the truck but I’ve got some assessing to do for a cadet activity starting late morning. Supposed to be a very rainy day here but we do need it so can’t complain.
