Raise a Glass To Absent Friends
Have been thinking it through today, over the years we have lost several friends/club members over the years and most recently Uncle Rustic.
So how about arranging a synchronised Glass Raising To give you a bit of notice this Saturday 12th May at 9 o’clock. Drink whatever you want just raise a glass to “absent friends” and then a second time to “Uncle Rustic” So who’s up for this? |

A quadruple shot of Peach Snapps !
No photo but we did raise a glass to absent friends. The wife was on Brandy & Dry Ginger Ale.
Strictly mine was not a glass but was in fact from my small Pewter Tankard. For some inexplicable reason I have started drinking wine etc from a Pewter Goblet. I like the texture of the metal for some reason. Bought a variety of Pewter drinking vessels of the net a couple of years ago. Anyways cheers to absent friends who are now at peace. |
