Power Steering Fluid Recommendation
Has anyone got any recommendations for power steering fluid or will any old atf be fine.

Whoops, DOT3/DOT4 are both brake fluids, no Jim you just need ATF (Auto Transmission Fluid), your power steering is not highly stressed so any one will be fine, cleanliness is more important than oil quality, Rick

Cheers Rick, I have a very small rotating pipe cutter so that I don’t introduce metal bits when cutting the pipes.

I use Dexron 2 grade transmission fluid & add this Lucas stuff
I use the above grade of ATF Fuchs ATF 3000 & add the Lucas Stop Leak it contains seal plasticises so it stops & prevents leaks.
