You could always just take a nod to the 90s and find one of these bull bar things on the front of this Terrano.

Thumbs up Thats's our old r3mR sold for £500 in 2013 N448 BRC!!

That is our old Nissan Terrano r3mR that we sold in 2013 it had around 151,000 km on the clock equivalent to 94k miles.

Mechanically it was very sound but it had badly blistering front wings due to rusting, slight damage to the nearside rear quarter wheel arch area. I had had some welding done to the rear middle cross member for it's MoT.

It's had a better tow bar fitted and probably a re-paint and repaired front wings. The Nissan ones were daft money £900 plus each !

When we sold her the front Bull Bar was slightly out of alignment due to a small fight with a Ford Mondeo. The Mondeo came second and was a write off from a 10mph rear ender. It was a factory specification when the vehicle was new. It was stainless steel except for the bolts that were chrome.

Well that explains why the car looks so good and the MOT history is so impressive. You had her and looked after her!!!

Is it time for a family reunion?

Thumbs up The Wife saw it and asked if we could buy her back but...............!

Having recently spent £854 this year on replacing upper and lower suspension arms all round we will stick with the Jeep. The Jeep is much more economical than the Nissan and has more grunt being common rail and 5 cylinder.

That said it did bring back some great memories from the period we owned her 2008-2013. Sadly the Trader I bought it from died a couple of years ago a great guy (Grahame Byrne) who I had known since the early 1970's when he traded as Fairmont Autos in the Derby area.

My only criticism of the vehicle was being an import it was quite expensive to insure back then with many companies declining to quote me cover. On the plus side it was ahead of it's time having Rack & Pinion steering and coil spring suspension all round. It also had a lockable differential and switchable 2/4 wheel drive and overdrive on the auto box.

Nostalgia I just love it.
