That's incredible! What are the chances of two vehicles from the same appearing on FleaBay at the same time?

I can see the opportunity for a matched "laning" pair for some of you mudbusters.

I like them, you could get free parking on any beach lol
Imagine Pamela Anderson running across the beach to you lol... no forget that one.
I would be aware that these trucks have probably been in a salty environment, splashed seawater underneath from driving on beaches, or even part flooded or waves crashing over them.

I suspect that they were never rinsed off after every call out, so I would think the rear floor pan is rotten, (poss chassis too). This is also suggested by the rear rotting wings. I suspect fuel tank and fuel filler pipe rusted through too.

A good inspection prior to purchase could reveal a bargain. Or a lemon to match the bonnet lol

Always one to put a positive spin on things.

Accurate, but funny to read.

I am thinking of getting one of those, I noticed that vehicles fitted with them, seem to make better progress through the traffic for some reason.

If I got one of the Coastguard Terranos and the flashing lights it would help a lot.

Might look a bit suspicious, a Coastguard 4x4 "advertising" three hours drive from the coast lol...
If I was stopped, I'd just tell them we're expecting a very high tide lol...
If they said when, I'd reply... "The Day After Tomorrow" lol

I do like those trucks though..
If I was in the market, I might take a look... with a torch, hammer and mirror lol

Not sure if it is the same now, but many years ago, when we had the RAF rescue helicopters based at Manston airport, they would do a sea rescue, and then fly the people straight to either Canterbury, or Ashford hospital. The problem was, they would have to wait for the coastguard to get there, in order to be able to land, as the Coastguard were the only emergency service that had both air and emergency radios in the car, and could give the helicopter permission to land... There were a few nights where I saw a Coastguard car with blues on, heading away from the sea at high speed towards Ashford or Canterbury hospital.

Coastguard should be enough to make you run for the hills

I personally wouldn't go near them with a barge pole especially blind without seeing the underneath first, but each to their own

If you put your ear to the hole in the chassis, any hole, you can hear the sea!
