Default Wanna Be!

Good evening Guys & Gals,

Fingers crossed by this time next week I will of picked up my new (to me) Nissan Patrol GR (Y61)

I've owned a few 4X4's from X-Trails to Land Rovers, but I'm very excited about this one!

I hope to modify it a little for my own needs, and no doubt I'll turn to the forum for advice... Maybe in time, I'll be able to give advice too!

I look forward to seeing you lot around the forum!

Jay

It seems customary to name your vehicle, I'll have to think of a fittting one!

Does anybody else find that the insurance for Patrols seems pretty high?

I had an 07 Discovery 3 before this and the insurance was a good couple of hundred quid cheaper for the year!

What have you been quoted bud?

I'm around £600 but that's specialist offroad cover (includes when I'm getting muddy) with all mods declared and national breakdown cover, she's also kept on street. Mileage is 18000 as I was commuting in her and had some business cover (got a wee run around now so that will be much reduced).

I got quoted the high end of the 600's with no modifications and no mention of Off Road use...

Who did you get that thru? I should give them a shout!

Hi,
Please feel free to give us a try for insurance if you like. If you wanted to PM me some contact details I'd be happy to arrange for one of my quotes team to give you a call back.
Regards,
Dan.
