A Man from Ballymena in Northern Ireland
Hi all,
Got my first nissan terrano. Mainly to be used for towing a trailer and none of this mad off road stuff... although its nice to know the motor is capable of doing it! Have a bit of experience putting engines into cars, but the size of these 4x4 is going to be a challenge. Everything is soooooo bigger! Noticed that rust can be a problem, but good job I have a mig and a inverter welder - so just a case to jumping in with advise for my peers!! |

Welcome. Personally I've found it easier to work on my terrano than a std car because everything is bigger and more robust

Looks tidy there's no-one who owns one of these who hasn't a list of jobs to do. The folk on here are a godsend for info and it certainly helps to keep you motivated.

Totally agree!! Blocky10 - seen the dodgy mount for the compression rods and my heart sank, but keen to do stuff on the car myself and was glad to hear people supporting me to have a go!! I've been on other forums and they are full of smart arses... everyone has to start somewhere!!
