Smile Hi everyone

Hi I am new to this site, I own a Nissan Navara D40 06 reg and go green lanning. My truck as 164,000 miles and runs sweet but can anyone advise on timing chain replacement. I am an engineer so will do it myself, but do I go with original like for like replacement chains or upgrade to a double chain kit?
Secondly do members have club meets and social gatherings?
Many thanks
Jim

Welcome Jim.
Would be good to have a meet somewhere central to the general membership.

Welcome aboard Jim. Sorry no idea about the Navs, which engine is it?

There used to be national rallies but not had one for a long time. There are sometimes green lane meets both days and weekends. Got to say met some great people on here but not met a lot from "darn sarf" but have every intention of making the effort sometime.

Check out the downloads section in quick links, think there may be a workshop manual for your truck.

Is that the one with or without the bottom end bearings problem?
What's the mileage on it?
