I may use the Skate board Bearing Idea and the box section steel for an extra long pullout

Just one thing on safety, if you get a rear end shunt, the side pieces could penetrate the front seats...
I am especially careful when loading lengths of timber or tubing, that they are not behind any passengers, I place them at an angle.

As soon as I see the pic I thought a minor rear end could be devastating for the occupants in the front..
