Sky Problem! Help!
I have been redecorating our bedroom over the past week. I moved every thing out except the tv and the sky box Which I just unplugged and covered with a sheet
Come to put it all back together today and I cant get a signal to the sky box. It was fine before I unplugged it. None of the leads have been moved except the plug lead. There is nothing on the signal strength or quality and it is not locked. I have tried all the reset procedures to no avail. It's like it cant see the dish,I have checked the connection from the LNB and it seems ok ,Any ideas? oh, It's not a HD box just the old SD box by the way |

I would be looking at the plug on the box end of the LNB coax, unscrew it and check for good connections and no whisker from the screen to the core, Rick

Is the LNB a single channel, or does your Sat dish support two sat boxes?
I would check the set up for the Sat box, to check power is being sent to the dish. Other than that, re make the Sat connector and check for loose strands, as suggested.

Try a reset, power off for a minute and then power up and wait for a minute or two and see what happens.

I have done this and re set the LNB and even try ed a system upgrade, even though I knew it wouldn't work as there's no signal
