Thumbs up Gazebo in place it looks a treat !

Well about fourteen days ago had a Palram Gazebo 3m x 3m delivered from CostCo its a nifty thing made from alluminium sections / with a Polycarbonate roof that should withstand snow & ice in the winter.
Arrived with three damaged rails so had to wait a week for them to be replaced.

Unit assembled a few days ago and today with the aid of a set of 4 small swivel wheels attached to the legs got it all moved in situ (over pond & garden via driveway). Bolted in place above Hot Tub and it looks just Dandy.

Too dark tonight for Pics that will follow in morning.

Comes with a 10 year warranty -on a sliding scale as well plus the usual CostCo no quibble warranty not happy - full refund.

Structure is Alluminium alloy and powder coated. The instructions even give you the paint code to purchase touch up paint.

At present a curtain set is next item but they are sold out for the season.
The cable ties are temporary whist silicon dries for drain downpipes.

The manufacturer is an Israeli one and they do all sort of structures including carports.

Due to the level difference I had the choice to either shorten one leg by 8 inches where the underground pond stream is covered over or cast three concrete leg bases for it to sit on.

Used a plastic plant pot of the right height as a mould to make three solid bases for the legs to sit on. They have been fixed in place with silicone once the legs were spirit level vertical.

All legs are vertical in both planes camera distorts the true picture. The whole structure weighs about 145 lbs so needed bolting down to prevent take off in high winds.

Yeah, you don't want that bugger floating around in a storm
I hadn't read your 1st posting properly and didn't see that it had been bolted down. My mate has had a hot tub for a few months now and he nearly had a heart attack when the electric bill came in, needless to say, it's off more than on now

I have monitored my Electric Consumption with my true reading Eectric and Gas account with British Gas. I submit monthly readings online and on the 12 th of the month pay for the previous month.
It does mean in the summer my Gas Bill is under £10 for 4 months of the year. As I have a pond, 7ft and a 4 ft Aquarium in my Garage Office my electric bill has always been highish.

My first month was £24.00 (That's less than my 6 day paper bill!) above normal including the initial fill up and heating. My Tub is 'A' rated for energy efficiency I will probably switch it off and drain it down at the end of October depending on the rise of power consumption. I monitor my meter reads weekly and use the predict my next bill option on the BG website..

One of the big differences between the cheaper Hot Tubs and the more expensive ones is down to more efficient pumps better shell insulation and top cover.
