What Glue?
Hi guys, want to patch a sewn in ground sheet on a tent. Its the really slippy shiney woven type pvc stuff. Anyone got any ideas of what glue to use please?

I used gorilla tape on my old caravan cover, that stuff sticks like sh1t, I should think their glue would be as good.

I wanted to make a tonneau cover when towing the boat, I used the cheap blue tarps you can buy, I cut it up and I used double sided tape to form the hems and used some old lift the dot fixings through the hem. It worked fine on three double trips of 250 miles... Still got it.
So if the material is similar, then double sided tape works great, provided you have a suitable piece for the patch. Round the corners to reduce the chances of the corners lifting. Spray adhesive is another option. Test an area first in case the solvent attacks the surface.

carpet tape
I've used woven carpet tape on a similar project in the past before, really sticky too. Still holding now.
