Nope the thing hasn't been delivered yet

there is progress of sorts as Ive been in contact with Skoda UK and told them that I'm not impressed. I know whats going to happen, it'll be ready just before the end of the month so I'll lose out on nearly a months road tax

it's flipping pants isn't it.

Well, say you are away that week, and get it delivered on the first of the month, provided they tax it from then.

Also... if you want the extended warranty then if you didn't order it at the time, then you MUST order it before it is taxed... and that could add a week as Skoda CZ have to accept it.

Dont worry your dealership can tax a new car on first registration for the extra week so you loose nothing you pay for a full year plus an extra week make sure you tell them thats what you want to do!

Result! The email to Skoda did the trick. Picking it up tomorrow. Cheers macabethial road tax for one year and one day.
