Phew....new MOT
Just got my new 12.5 months MOT! Sighs of relief all round LOL. Hadn’t used to bother me; must be a symptom of old age.
Not bragging but (well...yes I am LOL) it's the first time for 3y that I’ve had no advisories at all, though previous ones have been silly or back-covering types eg. "waxoil on brake pipes" (so?), "no rearmost seats fitted" (car is registered as 5 seater even though it was 7 when built), baby seat fitted (how unusual), "7 pin plug fitted to 13 pin socket" (deliberate but legal, that's to stop them testing it with their iffy gov. spec. equipment!), tyres starting to perish (oh no they’re not, must be dirt on your specs.!). Then again 'young out-to-make-a-name for-himself' tester has left & experienced older types with more sense reign now. Tester even commented that it was the best looked-after vehicle they had seen in a long time, but I took this with a 'pinch of salt' as a Citroen he had just failed was, in his words "not safe to tow to the scrap yard"! Can’t wait for next year……I am joking of course. Happy days……. |
