Magnetic Sump Plugs
I like them takes me back to my old Mini days all the A series engined Minis had them as standard.
Mind you with shared oil with gearbox you needed them. A strong magnet is better as moving hot oil needs some Gauss force to grab passing iron particles so I think the stronger the magnet the better - might even help retain the Gauss Force with the high temperatures. |

I would not bother, you will be wasting your money, a magnet picks up particles that sink to the bottom of the sump end of story, but only iron, what do you think happens to the white metal, brass and aluminium, etc basically the only protection a sump filter does is protect the oil pump, after that the main oil filter comes into play, think about it?????
