The secret is ........ YOUR POSTCODE !!!!
I live in Swansea, SA1 postcode, and although I am 57yrs. old, clean licence since 1966, held a PSV class 1 since 1974 and have maximum NCD .... the cheapest quote I have had so far ( insurance expires on 29/09/07) for my Mistral is £316:71 with NIG . Maybe we should all move North to the top end of Scotland !! Matt.   |

I'm told NFU are good for 4x4s, and thy are much more friendly when it comes to basic 4x4 mods like bull bars, spotlights, reasonable lifts 2-3" on suspension and chassis IIRC and big MT's etc After all these are only the sort of things farmers do all the times to their tractors (sorry I mean landies).

just rang NFU - said they would not insure a 4x4 with a winch bar on it.
chap was not keen to have it referred to the underwriters either, said they were always declined |
