Hi Brian, welcome aboard I am sure someone will be along soon to answer your question on Hi Clones, I am personally not convinced that they work but I am no expert and have never fitted one to do a comparison.

I am not syaing they don't work just that I have not been conviced enough to shell out my hard earned cash to buy one!!

Hi Thermo,

Welcome to the Forum, trust me your £10 will be worth it.

As with others I have no experience of the Hi-Clones but stick a post in the Mechanical Thread with details on which model T2 you have and I'm sure someone will assist.

Might be worth stating what MPG your getting, type of driving etc.

Good Luck.

Thanks everyone
Membership is very reasonable.

Not had any MPG figures yet as still waiting to tax it (1 nov!) I have got it sitting in my drive at the moment and i have started to clean it EVERYWHERE as the last owner must have used it as a kennel (no mess just hair EVERWHERE!)

I was a member of the club for my last car.
if anybody has had fuel MPG problems then check my last car out
MITSUBISHI LEGNUM VR4
2.5 V6 Twin Turbo
AVE 18 MPG
if you put your foot dow then you get about 4 MPG ! :!:

Cheers

Hi Thermostat & welcome to the club 8) You'll find all the info you need on here & a few good little mods thrown in for good measure  I get about 25-29 MPG out of mine but I often drive it hard on the road : but even these figures will prob look good compaired to your last motor

Hi Brian, welcome aboard. What year and engine is your motor :?: You can add your vehicle details to your signature which sometimes helps. Mines the 27TDi and running locally short trips and hills I get around 24mpg but on a run I've had her to 33mpg once or twice but I did have to behave myself to get that figure. If your T2 is pre 2001 then you've got £185 (ish) a year to pay in road tax.

Hi Jim,

Yes my Grey T" 1999 on a "V" plate is £185 for Tax which is the same as my last car.
I got a pre 2001 for this reason.

Will put more info when i have something decent to put in it.
