Default New rear bumper

Hi all, so today i paid the almighty Rick a visit with the hope of re indexing the front torsion bar, after some debate we decided against the front torsion indexing due to stress.

So with the leak off pipes easily tackled we started chatting about mods on here, I mentioned makeitfit's steel bumper, at which point rick mentioned he had a special set of bumpers in led of a lick of paint. Needless to say I snatched them up

The rear one has been fitted to get me home and I'm returning to get the front one done later

As usual rick, you are a legend

Yeah, needs a luck of paint and a quick tidy up.

I also need a rubber grommet for the drivers side rear, any ideas where?

Just to be on the safe side you might be better taking it to show an mot station and asking if they'll pass. Those rear wheel s look a little exposed to me.

Think he'll be ok Jim, if you check Adz's pic thread he took his rear bumper off completely. Think the only thing they're bothered about is sharp edges that folk could cut/stab themselves on (we'll ignore the question of why they'd be that close to the rear of the truck in the first place)

Looking good Alex, remember you'll need a winch in your front bumper to make it road legal

I'd cut back the over rider bit so it's narrower. then move the lights outward. that'll let you mount the main bar higher so it looks better just under the door line. Even more clearance then and it'll look like it's meant to be there
The grommets should easily be found in a scrap yard

Would you believe the rear door only just opens!! So no more lifting there. Are you on about cutting the corners off?
