What's the Value of my Y Reg Terrano
Hi All,
If all goes tom plan in approx 3 months I will be moving from good old Wales to live in Canada, so my trusty Terrano must go. I have no real idea of her value so trust some of you guys n gals could please give me some idea, so I will give a rough outline of condition below, so here goes: She is a Y reg 2.7 se with full leather interior, starts on the button and has never let me down, taxed till Jan 15 and I will put a new MOT on her, 2 new rear tyres just fitted, also just had all the joints in the steering including that bar changed. The usual dash problem so think she has done approx 99,000 miles needs approx 4 inches painting on ns wing some age related marks Think thats about it, I do fully understand without seeing it or a pic its hard to judge but a rough idea or ballpark figure is good enough. Thanks in advance Geoff |

Canada, they have some great winters there...
Where were you thinking of? I was out on business a few winters back in Montreal...that city appeared very European, I guess it's the french connection, boy was it cold. Vehicles had remote starting, so you could start the car from hundreds of metres away, and get into a nice warm defrosted car. They also had electric posts on the street that they connected to, to keep the engine warm. So what will be your thoughts on a vehicle out there, with temperatures often colder than -30 c Br r r r r r r ? I wonder what anti freeze they use, probably vodka!

I don't if I could resist the vodka before it ever made it to the truck lol, but they must use some special stuff. We are off to Toronto so will have to read up on their weather, not sure on what vehicle, the Land Rover Discos seem cheap but will probably end up with a Ford or GMC Dodge 4x4 as we want to live outside the city being a country lad at heart cities just dont do it for me |
