Laptop issues :/
Help me oh learned ones, you're my last hope
 I have an ancient lappy that works on XP pro BUT for some reason it just won't let me download anything off the net  It may be slow and that but it only has to stream music from my pc to my hi-fi set up. So can anyone tell my why I get this error report within 5 seconds of ANY download attempt ?  I've done every and all updates the thing has asked for and it says it's running IE8

Its almost certainly because its an .exe file, thats an executable, meaning its a program that can run without being extracted first so its probably being blocked....
