Better a side step than your sill!

Both my side steps took a bit of a battering on the Wales trip but better them than the alternative The near side one has a couple of places where the rubber on the side has been peeled back by a rock or two and the front of the offside step is bent upward but not noticeably to a casual observer (I can still hear the thud when it happened!)

Plan is to replace them with box section rock sliders eventually but they'll do the job in the meantime, next job is a 2" lift so they shouldn't catch as much once I get that done.

Anyways... as judd750 says, did you get stuck?
