This would be the recall thats affecting a lot of makes, including Toyota (who I work in a garage for)

It involves removing the top of the dash, to scan the barcode on the airbag, and replacing the ignitor if necessary.

In Toyota, it takes a few hours to do....

You could always hit the front of the car with a sledge hammer, if the airbag doesn't go off, it was faulty...
Then you know you need to replace it...

Saves a lot of time
