^^

I like the outdoors all weather, I like gardening, computers, playing my xbox but most of all my hobby is cars. I love them. Next week I get my Boss's BMW M3 V8 for a few days I think, so plenty of time will be spent playing with that. Im working my way up to asking to borrow the Ferrari or the Challenger, so if I don't destroy this BMW I might just get a chance

I had an hpi savage and a hyper 7

The savage had about £2k worth of upgrades and I used to hit a bmx 1/4 pipe at 60mph and jump about 100 ft in the air doing triple backups and land on the wheels

Forever breaking diffs and suspension parts, money pit hobby tbh

Done the Radio controlled cars thing 20 odd years back. Had A Tamiya Avanti that was heavily modified and A Kyosho Lazer. Used to race at a club and made it to Race Director, organizing the weekly heats and Track layout for the meetings. Every year we put a display competition on at Abbey Park show in Leicester.
Have always liked Model railways and have a small N gauge Railway that I save for Wintertime when it's too cold for my other hobby which is Carp Angling.
I also do A fair bit of Rifle Shooting, mainly Rabbits and have just been granted open ticket for my Rim Fire Rifles.

I had a Sin-Yih AX5. Brilliant 1/8 buggy!

One before that was a crappy Kyosho 1/10 that was forever stripping the damn spur gears.

Don't have one any longer, but I often wish I did. Mind you, I probably wouldn't manage to find the time between breeding quail, hens, ducks, keeping & working ferrets, running my own wee shoot, fishing, & making my own bacon, sausages & cured meats, plus making & smoking my own cheeses. Oh yes, and veg' growing. How the hell I manage to find the time to go to work is beyond me

That's a hell of a to do list...I'm surprised you find time to sit down for a shit, let alone go to work with that lot. LOL

Tell me about it, mate. On the other hand, it's very seldom you'll find me doing everything on the list all at the same time

As you can see from my photo not one H.P.I in sight.
I had a MT 2.And my son had a savage.
I would never go near H.P.I again.
My fave truggie's are GV Hunter and REX X.Almost bomb proof.
GV hunter is around five yrs old and apart from tires fuel etc.
All i replaced is the front suspension CV joints and a body shell.
It has had loads of hammer including landing upside down in three foot mud pond from a 40ft jump/flip.took it home change the air filter/checked it over and it is still running to day.
So from my point of view. One of my hobbies is not a necessary Money pit.
Although it can be.more so if you buy cheap/and not learn how to fly your Trucks/Buggies etc.
But i take my cammo hat of to you for your skills of flight.
