Default What's your tipple ?

I'm a bitter/real ale man, but also love cider

Used to drink only lager in my youth but when I was about 28 I had joint problems and after much investigation, which was inconclusive a consultant advised me to change from larger to bitter, sorted my joints and I got the taste for it after a couple of months

7 years later and I love the stuff

Like dark milds tbh as a regular drink, but I do like a nice strong hoppy bitter too

Recently really got into cider. Some of the westons stuff is nice but I prefer the more home made stuff. Although hennys is worth a serious look if you like proper cider ( not that chemical shite like bulmers/kopprrberg/reckorderlig etc)

How about u ?

ah ha yes to cider we've got a few trees out the back and squash them into cider. Also got plum trees and the wife likes a bit plum wine.
Then we've got shed loads of sloes, they're a pain in the arse to pick but pay off is when they've been floating around in gin for a few months, just ready for crimbo
Mostly though on friday I'll be testing budwieser
Closely followed by copious amounts of red wine, shiraz or merlot usually
