speed awareness course

Has any one done it
Is it worth the 85quid or shall i take the three points and 60 quid fine
Either ways it seems a racket

They charge for these now? Bloody hell.

But if it's being run by senior RoSPA Advanced Driver, it's well worth it.

Yes, I did one. It was superb. Then again, I got the RoSPA chap who advises the government amongst other stuff. An excellent course.

Its run by ttc 2000 course lasts four hours looked on website does not say who runs the session says it consists of interactive classroom elements

Bet your insurance will go up by more than that.
Take the course if you have the time, it may save a life oneday, could be yours. David.

Apparently the insurance companies are now increasing it even if you go on the awareness course.

Was on the bbc news website a few days ago.

The area where i got zapped by mobile unit used to be 50 zone i got flashed doing 46 in a what is now a 40
