after a bit of research , i found this ,
the nissan " p " engine was fitted in patrols , later to be called the "p40 " The P is a gasoline powered, 3,956 cc inline six-cylinder with 125 PS (92 kW) at 3,400 rpm initially. Bore and stroke are 85.7 x 114.3 mm.[1] Later with 135 PS (99 kW), further modifications in 1965 increased the power to 145 PS (107 kW). Later variants were called P40, reflecting the engine displacement in liters (4.0). |
