Question any bike enthuiasts on here!

just wondered if 1 or 2 knew about bikes on here as ive recently bought one, just a trail bike that ive fancied but not many around a yamaha tw125 4 stroke , the guy said it has been stripped new piston rebuilt but he says he doesnt trust the cam chain ajuster saying its a crap idea automatic ajustment that doesnt work i always thought that was the best one but after revving the bike i find a chain rustle sound after shutting off & im begining to wonder if the old chain worn out was fitted or more like the guy didnt have a clue as he kept saying its bad idea how the spring fits that ajusts the chain , ive got little faith in this guy now & not run the engine since gotta find someone who knows more feel more happy having it stripped checked again possibly with new chain + ajuster does this sound wise thing to do

i use to have one as a training bike they all do that its a common problem on the little yam engine to be honest i think he was talking complete bollox i have no idea why he would replace the piston on a four stroke engine.

if its revving ok and running fine leave it alone

some just love tinkering even when there unsure its at that point they decide to sell as there close to a knackered lump! yeah as you say if it starts & runs ok then leave well alone, ive got my local bike dealer gonna take a look he seems to think its the ajuster but one way or another it will get sorted properly
